Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance in Project Planning and Scheduling, with close supervision.
  • Able to Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control assigned discrete projects or activities to ensure assignments are completed on time and deadlines are met.
  • Applies best practices in project management to ensure projects: (1) are completed on time and within budget and scope, (2) produce a quality product, and (3) result in customer satisfaction.
  • Reviews deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and quality prior to delivery to customer.
  • Maintains project records, prepares status reports, takes meeting minutes, and ensures documents are accessible.
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers; both internal and external.
  • Captures and submits change notices to the Change Advisory Board.
  • Ensures contracts, purchase orders, and status reports are maintained, as required.
  • Identifies potential project risks and elevates to project leadership, able to support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively engages in continuous process improvement and promotes positive changes within the company.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or 5+ years of functional experience may substitute.
  • Related functional experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques, including Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project.
  • CAPM®/PMP® or Scrum Master preferred.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or 5+ years of functional experience may substitute.
  • Experience: Related functional experience is required.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of project management methods, tools, and techniques, including Agile methodologies. Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, and Project. CAPM®/PMP® or Scrum Master preferred.

Schedule

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting may be required. May require domestic and international travel (25% to 50%) and valid US passport.
