About the role

This position involves supporting internal engineering operations initiatives through effective project coordination and communication. The role is designed for an entry-level project management professional who can collaborate within technical teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end internal engineering projects, including tooling improvements, platform migrations, process automation, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure clear visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, project kick-offs, and recurring status meetings; document decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to define project scope, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Track project dependencies across teams and escalate risks or blockers to senior project managers and leadership.
  • Assist with resource coordination and prioritization of engineering initiatives.
  • Support the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new engineering requests.
  • Maintain accurate project data within tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within engineering operations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Assist in resolving issues and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, technical project management, or engineering operations support.
  • Experience working in a technical environment with software and systems engineering teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project or issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Pay

$35.00 – $40.00 USD Hourly

Schedule

Hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
