Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in the preparation and administration of the project safety plan
- Affords assistance in project controls and procedures, and manages established risk mitigation processes
- Affords creation and follow-through on potential change items and participation in verification of project financial forecast
- Affords creation and management of a project-specific quality plan aligned with the owner contract and contract documents and affords assistance with execution
- Affords creation and management of a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents and affords assistance with execution
- Affords direction and supervision of work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
- Affords assistance in subcontracting strategy, supports scope writing and deliverables to ensure the integrity of the buyout process
- Affords implementation and enforcement of all aspects of contracts; participates in development of risk mitigation plan; prepares draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
- Affords participation in enrollment for insurance and bonds; tracks and obtains trade contractors' compliance
- Affords support as needed to develop project estimate, design coordination efforts, and preparation of GMPP
- Affords preparation of monthly schedule updates, including schedule analysis, and narratives for select packages
- Affords participation in constructability and coordination reviews
- Affords development of a basic understanding of the local market areas and profiles to assist in creation of networking strategy
- Affords training of direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks
- Affords management of workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards
- Affords fostering of a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
- Affords aid in communication of company and department strategy to direct reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 4-7 years of experience
- Previous hyperscale data center experience is desired
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)
