Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance in the preparation and administration of the project safety plan
  • Affords assistance in project controls and procedures, and manages established risk mitigation processes
  • Affords creation and follow-through on potential change items and participation in verification of project financial forecast
  • Affords creation and management of a project-specific quality plan aligned with the owner contract and contract documents and affords assistance with execution
  • Affords creation and management of a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents and affords assistance with execution
  • Affords direction and supervision of work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
  • Affords assistance in subcontracting strategy, supports scope writing and deliverables to ensure the integrity of the buyout process
  • Affords implementation and enforcement of all aspects of contracts; participates in development of risk mitigation plan; prepares draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
  • Affords participation in enrollment for insurance and bonds; tracks and obtains trade contractors' compliance
  • Affords support as needed to develop project estimate, design coordination efforts, and preparation of GMPP
  • Affords preparation of monthly schedule updates, including schedule analysis, and narratives for select packages
  • Affords participation in constructability and coordination reviews
  • Affords development of a basic understanding of the local market areas and profiles to assist in creation of networking strategy
  • Affords training of direct reports on processes, procedures, and completion of daily tasks
  • Affords management of workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards
  • Affords fostering of a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
  • Affords aid in communication of company and department strategy to direct reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 4-7 years of experience
  • Previous hyperscale data center experience is desired
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical and communication skills are critical
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)
