Project Manager I

Key Duties Include, But Not Limited To

• Manage project deadlines and customer expectations
• Track and present project progress both internally and externally
• Coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines
• Manage budget margins and costs effectively
• Train and communicate best practices to vendors and providers
• Manage all phases of projects from surveying, quoting, pricing, equipment ordering, installation and post installation and billing phases
• Negotiate with providers, technicians, clients and government municipalities
• Facilitate coordination among multiple entities to ensure timely project completion
• Interpret data to manipulate & create spreadsheets
• Work with data within our database to execute projects and purchase orders with our vendors and suppliers
• Take ownership of assigned projects and of own development

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years project management experience
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in professional office environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written
• Strong computer skills – Proficient in Excel, Word & other software programs
• Ability to learn proprietary software systems (SamPro)
• Ability to negotiate internally and externally with all resources types including providers, vendors, suppliers and technical resources
• Ability to multi-task and perform work accurately at a fast pace
• Pay close attention to detail
• Ability to articulate themselves well & influence clients & vendors alike
• Previous and successful experience with person-to-person presentations regarding project updates
• Previous and successful experience with HVAC and mechanical blueprints
• Ability to create a scope of work for a sub-contractor and hold them accountable to it
