Client is an Austin-based firm which has been a leading provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects, including a project to implement a new citywide Technology Selection process and the technology implementation required to support the new process
• Projects may include discovery and requirements gathering, procurement, project reporting, stakeholder management, risk/cost management, delivery/implementation, and post go-live stabilization

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
• 4 years of progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience
• 4 years of experience managing projects in government or public sector industry
• Experience implementing a SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions through all project phases
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and active listening
• Excellent stakeholder management skill
