Project Manager I

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects, including a project to implement a new citywide Technology Selection process and the technology implementation required to support the new process.
• Projects may include discovery and requirements gathering, procurement, project reporting, stakeholder management, risk/cost management, delivery/implementation, and post go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• Minimum (Required) Years Skills/Experience: 5
• Experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
• Progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience: 4
• Experience managing projects in government or public sector industry: 4
• Experience implementing a SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions through all project phases: 4
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and active listening: 4
• Excellent stakeholder management skill: 4
