Responsibilities
- Cook up the contract scope as per sales and management.
- Create and keep track of project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate with various departments involved in manufacturing operations:
- Contact Review
- Procedures and specifications
- Document control
- Data book compilation
- Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
- Production Scheduling
- Host customer meetings to discuss schedules, issues, and action items.
- Anticipate and address potential problems promptly.
- Handle drawing and document submissions, approvals, distribution, and version control.
- Work closely with the customer’s third-party inspection companies.
- Keep tabs on progress billing reports and customer communications about overdue accounts.
Requirements
- Preferred: Certified Associate in PMP or PMPP
- PREFERRED: 4-year college degree
- 3-5 years' experience in project management of manufactured and fabricated offshore drilling and production equipment, or similar equipment
- Computer literate with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Knowledge and experience in reading and comprehending engineering drawings
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in a machine shop/welding environment
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints

- Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional work outside or in a manufacturing facility

- Working inside 60% or more of time, working outside 20-60% of the time
