Project Manager I

About the role

The Project Manager manages a large book of customer projects, ensuring assigned projects are completed on time, within budget, and within scope. They provide the level of customer engagement required to meet the customer's needs and expectations, focusing on creating a positive customer experience. The Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and successful completion of both transactional and complex projects, working closely with test engineers, lab department managers, and the publications department.

Self-supervision is required while managing a high volume of projects and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned test project lifecycles from project opening, schedule adjustments, scope of work (including changes), to invoicing and project close-out.
• Oversee test costs, project revenue tracking, and all project tasks and resources.
• Manage interdivisional projects with other Element facilities.
• Manage all project data and documentation across multiple systems, including financial and operating systems, scheduling in the tool VLAB, and data/report sharing portals.
• Ensure all test procedures are up-to-date and available for lab use.
• Handle invoicing and revenue tracking.
• Manage project schedules and communicate progress to clients and the Element project team.
• Advise clients on project cost, program, delays, and issues.
• Manage the scope of work and charge customers for additional services.
• Track change-of-scope (COS) submissions to customers and ensure updated purchase orders are received in a timely manner.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for customers and internal Element stakeholders.

Pay

$80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
