Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction (80K-120k+)

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Work Environment: Onsite / Field-Based Industry: Heavy Civil Construction Compensation: 80,000-120,000+/Year We are an established heavy civil construction company in the Deerfield Beach area that is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being close to the work, spending time both in the field and in the office, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction, particularly roadway, utilities, earthwork/dirt, or similar infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Manage heavy civil construction projects from planning through completionCoordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal leadershipManage project schedules, budgets, change orders, invoices, and project documentationTrack project progress and help identify potential delays, cost issues, or other risksMaintain strong communication between the field and officeReview plans, specifications, and project requirementsEnsure projects remain on schedule and within budgetAssist with estimating and preconstruction activities when neededMaintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders Qualifications Previous Project Management experience within heavy civil construction Experience with roadway, utilities, earthwork/dirt, infrastructure, or similar heavy civil projects Strong understanding of construction schedules, costs, change orders, and invoicingExperience using Primavera P6 is highly preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft SuiteEstimating experience is a plusField experience is strongly preferredPE license or other relevant construction certifications/licenses are a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentMust be comfortable working onsite and in the field What They’re Looking For The team is looking for someone who is experienced, personable, and wants to continue growing within the organization.
