Core Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a portfolio of strategic relationships to increase awareness of and engagement with Healthier Generation initiatives, connect health and learning, and advance policies and practices that improve whole child health.
  • Identify key individuals working across the school community, who can serve as champions, to collaborate on whole child health initiatives that meet mutually established deliverables and goals.
  • Convene partners at the local, state, and/or national level to increase awareness and advocacy of, connection to, and collaboration on the integration of whole child health topics.
  • Facilitate coaching, consultation, technical assistance, and capacity-building for partners on HG tools, resources and best practices that support the implementation of whole child health initiatives.
  • Conduct activities that support continuous improvement with district and/or school leadership teams (e.g. support in building teams, data collection and assessment, data analysis and goal setting, action planning, and measuring impact of project goals).
  • Report project progress and results through formal and informal reporting procedures, including contributing to grant reports, providing project updates, and tracking progress using various technology systems, such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Knowi.
  • Support the development, implementation, and/or promotion of org-wide initiatives (i.e. America's Healthiest School Awards, Leaders' Summit, etc.), leveraging it to elevate best practices and expand engagement across key health topics.
