Project Manager - GRC

Responsibilities

• Coordinate audit-related activities by gathering, organizing, and tracking supporting evidence for internal and external reviews.
• Partner with business stakeholders to obtain required documentation and ensure materials are submitted accurately and on time.
• Support compliance programs through record maintenance, document review, and preparation for assessments and audits.
• Assist with third-party risk evaluations by collecting vendor security materials, audit reports, and compliance questionnaires.
• Review vendor documentation to identify missing information, potential concerns, or items requiring escalation to senior reviewers.
• Monitor remediation items, audit observations, and compliance tasks to help teams stay aligned on deadlines and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to security assessment processes, including administrative support for penetration testing reviews and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate information within governance, risk, and compliance tools while helping improve reporting and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, information security, internal audit, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
• Ability to learn new systems, processes, and compliance frameworks quickly.

Preferred

• Experience supporting SOC 1 and/or SOC 2 audits.
• Exposure to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs.
• Familiarity with vendor risk management processes.
• Experience using GRC tools or compliance management platforms.
