Project Manager, Government Programs
Responsibilities
- Identifies project related risks and proactively plans for their mitigation
- Covers coordination with the project team discipline leaders regarding fee preparation
- Prepares fee proposals
- Prepares and negotiates client and subcontractor contracts
- Develops schedules and project plans
- Communicates relevant information with the project team
- Maintains progress against plan
- Ensures all project deliverables go through a detailed technical QA/QC review
- Maintains subconsultant work progress against contract
- Maintains frequent contact with the client
- Identifies changes in scope to prepare and coordinate requests for additional services
- Fosters positive relations with clients, subcontractors, and contractors
- Solves project related disputes in a prompt, professional manner
- Coordinates project billing with the accounting department
- Maintains collection of fees from clients
- Provides feedback to the Director of Operations regarding performance and work quality of project teammates
- Leads project kick off and regular project team meetings
- Establishes project scope with the client and attends client meetings and communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development
Qualifications
- 10 + years industry experience
- Proficiency with Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
- Experience leading large and small user groups through a project design process
- Working knowledge of current construction materials and methods and variety of project delivery and contracting processes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience with delivery of Federal projects is a plus
- Experience with design-build delivery is a plus

Pay
Salary range for this position varies between $95,000 – $145,000, depending upon applicable experience.
