Project Manager (Gas), Capital Project Delivery

National Grid is hiring for a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA, with an average of 2-3 days per week in the office or at a job site. Relocation benefits are not offered for this position.

As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully execute large, complex gas projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex gas projects up to $10MM, including transmission and distribution gas main replacements, regulator/take stations, lining, and bridge/railroad/water crossings.
• Coordinate and provide direction for accounting, cost, forecast, and construction functions to ensure project completion.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates and drive projects to completion.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and efficient resource utilization across the network delivery organization.
• Negotiate and execute contracts and change orders with design teams, contractors, and others.
• Discover and implement methods to integrate and track data from multiple sources to drive project performance.
• Assist the project management team with scheduling, tracking projects, analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, and generating reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, construction management, or engineering, including demonstrated experience delivering projects.
• 2+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (preferred).
• Experience with PowerBI or similar tools to create visual dashboards (preferred).
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret information and analyze relationships among parts of a problem to articulate findings.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Pay

$109,000 - $128,000 a year.
