Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Successfully perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Delegate, manage, and develop motivational and leadership traits.
  • Communicate verbally and/or in writing with individuals or groups (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees).
  • Maintain relationships to meet needs and resolve problems/conflicts.
  • Build relationships based on trust and leverage for positive outcomes.
  • Provide input and supervise preconstruction services, including purchase orders, subcontractors, schedules, job cost set-up, and project pre-planning.
  • Create and manage project schedule.
  • Create and manage all budget items, including monthly cost projections.
  • Prioritize and efficiently report issues to Senior Project Manager for specific attention to prevent escalation.
  • Act as/without Senior Project Manager on $5-$10M projects with support.
  • Manager smaller projects concurrently.
  • Successful award and creation of all subcontracts.
  • Supervise and/or manage employees, subcontractors, and/or suppliers in the area of responsibility by giving direction, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Ensure end results meet all schedule, quality, and profit targets.
  • Monitor and update project schedule routinely.
  • Track critical path and address potential problems immediately, documenting any real and potential delays.
  • Identify impact of changes to schedule and notify appropriate parties.
  • Establish and leverage relationships with subcontractors for project achievement of schedule and quality standards.
  • Understand and communicate the role in sales within each project to ensure project team will be a good reference.
  • Communicate and understand the roles of all field personnel.
  • Proficient to train on software.
  • Recognize and prevent existing and potential safety hazards.
  • Implement QA/QC knowledge.
  • Follow company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and reinforce the Company vision, mission, and values.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
