About the role

Michels Construction, Inc. designs and constructs challenging foundation projects nationwide. As a Project Manager, you will manage a phase of a larger project or multiple smaller projects, ensuring profitable operations. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to accomplish project goals within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.

This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate and meet internal and external customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a phase of a larger project or multiple smaller projects to ensure profitable operations.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to meet goals within time and budget constraints.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or geotechnical engineering with 5 or more years of post-college experience.
  • Experience in deep foundations, heavy civil, design-build, and/or geotechnical contracting.
  • Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project controls software (preferred).
  • PMP or PE Certification (desired).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Pay

Expected salary range: $115,000—$159,000 USD. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
