About the role
RK&K, one of the nation’s top consulting firms, is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to assist our Program and Construction Management division. This individual will support the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) with the management, maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities throughout Maryland. The Facilities Project Manager will assist with the planning and delivery of Fund 29 vertical facility projects while supporting facility inspections, condition assessments, preventive maintenance programs, lifecycle planning, and repair and replacement activities. Projects may include office and maintenance buildings, welcome centers, weigh stations, salt storage structures, roofing systems, HVAC and other building systems, and environmental remediation. This position will primarily work from Hanover, Maryland, and requires travel to facilities throughout the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Manage facility construction, renovation, repair, replacement, maintenance, and service projects from planning through closeout.
- Develop and review scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, specifications, procurement documents, and multidisciplinary architectural and engineering designs.
