Project Manager | Event Services

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Post Production: Facilitating pre-show advance process, attending pre-production site visits, creating job proposals, quotes, and CAD drawings, organizing equipment and labor, generating purchase orders, managing crew requirements, updating order and change requests, creating room diagrams, planning electrical requirements, and generating production packets.
• Managing On-site Show Execution: Managing all load-in schedule and crew, conducting safety meetings, introducing department heads, performing project overviews, protocols, and etiquette.
• Post-show Closing Process: Working with Accounting and Operations teams to produce invoices, updating Intellievent and POs, completing post-show reports, completing expense and credit card summaries, and collaborating with sales directors, operations, and accounting for high client satisfaction and retention.

Job Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the AV industry and corporate production with at least seven or more years’ experience working directly with audiovisual equipment, managing clients, and understanding work flows for staging production.
• Successful candidates must have thorough knowledge of labor requirements (including union labor) and the ability to qualify specific labor skills when filling tech positions for successful operation of equipment.
• Strong technical working knowledge of equipment, content production, and work flow that will establish credible and respected leadership of the technical crew.
• General knowledge of lighting and rigging plots needed, as is proficiency with design tools including AutoCAD and Vectorworks.
• Must possess superior customer service skills in order to work well with both internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Special consideration extended to individuals with project management experience in supporting highly innovative digital solutions and elements involving creative content, including 3D projection mapping or holographic projection.
• Ability to travel within the Greater Phoenix Area with some National travel based on client needs.
