Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day execution of complex ERP and Student Information System (SIS) implementation projects from project initiation through post go-live support.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies that align with project goals and client objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets, scope, and timelines, proactively identifying variances and recommending corrective actions when needed.
  • Coordinate and manage SIG consulting resources across multiple project workstreams in partnership with the PMO Director.
  • Ensure client project teams are appropriately staffed, engaged, and accountable for completing assigned implementation activities and deliverables.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and status reviews to maintain momentum, resolve barriers, and drive decision-making.
  • Track project progress, manage action items, and provide regular, accurate status reporting to project sponsors, steering committees, and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns early and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Support organizational change readiness by helping clients prepare for new processes, system adoption, and operational transitions associated with ERP implementations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional implementation activities, including planning, configuration, testing, training, data-related activities, and go-live preparation.
  • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders while maintaining focus on project objectives, timelines, and successful outcomes.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations and implementation best practices.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years of project management experience within Higher Education is a must
  • Experience with SaaS implementation is a must-have
  • Experience managing the development and implementation of software enhancements, maintenance programs, and new releases of these products
  • Exceptional written, oral communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in effectively communicating and reporting at the executive level
  • Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet to plan and track large, complex projects
  • Ability to organize and lead multiple projects for more than one client simultaneously
  • Proven experience serving as a project lead and motivating teams to action
  • Experience with Ellucian Banner, Colleague, or other ERP and Student Information Systems
  • Ability to travel to client campuses on occasion (up to 25%)

Preferred Skills

  • Previous Consulting experience is preferred
  • Ideal candidates will hold a PMP certification

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus
