About the role
We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day management of project teams with a focus on project delivery, quality, financial performance, and health and safety.
- Ensure projects are executed to meet project, client, and regulatory objectives.
- Lead all aspects of the project life cycle including cost estimating and proposal preparation, scheduling, subcontracting, resourcing, project planning, execution, document preparation and review, and financial management.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, supporting field teams, providing oversight, and observing health and safety processes and procedures.
- Regularly and effectively communicate with clients, partners, subcontractors, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, technical reports, and deliverables.
- Plan and manage field investigations, including pre-design data collection and/or pilot testing data collection programs.
- Lead project technical assessments and design efforts or tasks, including model development, field implementation of bench-scale and field pilot studies, remedial action plans, remedial system installation and O&M, permitting, design and contract package development, and construction procurement support on environmental projects.
- Manage site characterization and remediation projects for Energy, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Real Estate clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Professional registration or certification, as applicable. P.G. or P.E. license required for geologists or engineers, as applicable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently lead project teams to achieve project and client goals and objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
- Proficient computer literacy skills including use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Environmental engineering experience that spans the entire project life cycle.
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks pertinent to the work.
- Demonstrated ability to work on interdisciplinary project teams.
- Experience managing environmental consulting projects involving site characterization, remediation strategy, regulatory coordination, and client communication.
