Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of customer projects. Key duties include leading the team to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards; reviewing and approving engineering documentation; collaborating with cross-functional teams; and participating in project meetings.
Requirements
- Accurately and timely review Mechanical Engineering documentation packages
- Meet budget and deadline requirements for pallets, critical stations, and all systems
- Support validation team in creating and testing validation packages
- Collaborate with other Project Managers and Functional Managers to streamline activities
- Share projects with other Mikron Project Managers when needed
- Troubleshoot engineering modifications during the debugging phase
- Identify and propose solutions to engineering issues
- Lead activities during the Internal Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT)
- Organize and lead large meetings with customers, suppliers, and Mikron team members
- Estimate costs and delivery times during project execution phases
- Work with Excel cost sheets and understand their data
- Drive daily work activities with the project team and in the debugging area
Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in a lead position in the Automation industry or similar
- BS in Engineering or equivalent
- Industrial automation experience, especially in medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Software experience: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, PDM/PLM, ERP
- Experience supervising or managing other Engineers or Project Managers
- Ability to prioritize activities during project execution phases
- Ability to estimate costs and delivery times during all project execution phases
- Ability to work with Excel cost sheets and understand the data behind the summaries
- Ability to organize and lead large meetings with customers, suppliers, and Mikron Team members
- Ability to provide root cause analysis techniques such as bone fish, 4 why
- Ability to analyze and interpret customer URS, design proposals, specifications, and manuals
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality and work collaboratively with the team

- Drives daily work activities with the project team and in the debugging area
