Project Manager – Energy Strategy & Development

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of utility contracts (e.g., electric service agreements, interconnection agreements), ensuring key terms and obligations are understood and tracked
• Monitor critical milestones, including submissions, approvals, and payment triggers tied to utility agreements
• Cook up with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of contract-driven deliverables
• Act as a central point of contact to help align stakeholders and maintain progress against utility-related requirements
• Track financial obligations such as deposits, capital contributions, and other contract-linked costs
• Help identify risks to timelines or contract compliance and escalate as needed
• Aid in organizing and maintaining contract documentation, trackers, and reporting tools

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-6 years of project management experience within the energy, fuel, or utilities industry
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or project management-related discipline is required
• Proven experience in project management, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or a related field
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (internal teams and external consultants)
• Experience managing complex timelines with milestone-based deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and organization to dynamic environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with establishing or leading project management frameworks (e.g., Agile or similar methodologies)
• Familiarity with energy sector projects or infrastructure development
• Knowledge of regulatory environments across major energy markets (e.g., permitting, compliance frameworks such as FERC)
• Experience managing contract-based project execution rather than purely strategic roles
