Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of utility contracts (e.g., electric service agreements, interconnection agreements), ensuring key terms and obligations are understood and tracked
- Monitor critical milestones, including submissions, approvals, and payment triggers tied to utility agreements
- Cook up with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of contract-driven deliverables
- Act as a central point of contact to help align stakeholders and maintain progress against utility-related requirements
- Track financial obligations such as deposits, capital contributions, and other contract-linked costs
- Help identify risks to timelines or contract compliance and escalate as needed
- Aid in organizing and maintaining contract documentation, trackers, and reporting tools
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-6 years of project management experience within the energy, fuel, or utilities industry
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or project management-related discipline is required
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or a related field
- Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders (internal teams and external consultants)
- Experience managing complex timelines with milestone-based deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to bring structure and organization to dynamic environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with establishing or leading project management frameworks (e.g., Agile or similar methodologies)
- Familiarity with energy sector projects or infrastructure development
- Knowledge of regulatory environments across major energy markets (e.g., permitting, compliance frameworks such as FERC)
- Experience managing contract-based project execution rather than purely strategic roles
