Project Manager - Dynamic Engineering

About the Role

Dynamic Engineering, a nationally recognized multidisciplinary consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead a design team in areas such as Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design, and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design. This leadership position involves mentoring staff, driving business growth, and ensuring project quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage team assignments and balance workload in a deadline-driven environment
• Provide vision and guidance to the firm in project management
• Drive growth of the company’s business model and promote business development
• Quality control and permitting with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
• Provide technical assistance to staff and clients in resolving problems
• Prepare presentations to land use boards and jurisdictional agencies
• Build and manage client relationships
• Prepare proposals and manage project delivery to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance
• Financial management of projects, including accounts receivable
• Mentor and develop staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting)
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain/operate a vehicle

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software
• In-depth knowledge of planning and zoning processes
• Proficient in Hydrologic and Hydraulic Stormwater Design
• Grading and drainage design skills
• Utility design experience, including pump stations and force mains
• Experience with regulatory agencies and review professionals
• Proficient in mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation
• Construction oversight experience for site work
• Proficient in design tools: Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPack, StormCAD, SSA, HEC-RAS
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
• Proficient in Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe for design document markups
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Independent and critical thinking abilities
• Superior organizational and delegation skills
• Ability to lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on staff development
