Project Manager, Design (Civil/Site/Transportation), PE Required

About the role

M&J Engineering, D.P.C. is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in civil, site, and transportation engineering to lead multidisciplinary teams on transportation and infrastructure improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on transportation and infrastructure improvement projects involving roadway/site/civil/ drainage and related projects
• Technical review and guidance for the preparation of AutoCAD drawings and specifications to create contract documents for construction, permitting requirements, and contract administration during construction
• Manage project budgets and finances, schedules, and client relationships
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Prepare and coordinate contracts with subconsultants
• Mentor and direct project and staff level engineers to enhance their professional development
• Participate in proposal development, interview presentations, and contract negotiations
• Familiarity with Federal, State and local regulatory requirements to comply with safety, quality assurance and project delivery

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
• PE Licensure Required
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years, 3 years as Project Manager
