What You Will Be Doing...
- Act as a team lead in coordinating a project team of engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the concept design, modification, analysis and construction of public and private infrastructure.
- Cookordination with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to define project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects stay on track.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Monitor progress and performance of projects, ensuring high-quality results.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
- Facilitate public meetings, presentations, and communication with stakeholders and community members.
Technical Assignments
- Facilitate The Company’s quality control procedure for deliverable generation, archiving, and distribution/transmittal.
- Other duties as assigned.
Why this is the right job for you...
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale transportation projects from design through construction.
- Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles, roadway design, traffic engineering, and project management.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local transportation regulations and permitting processes.
