Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams (architecture, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, structural, etc.) through all phases of design.
- Plan, execute, and monitor project scope, schedule, and budget for design-only projects.
- Serve as the primary client liaison during design, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Cook up internal resources and external design partners to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
- Manage design change control, including scope adjustments, fee impacts, and design revisions.
- Track project financial performance, including labor budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to CRB’s quality standards, design processes, and documentation requirements.
- Support business development efforts through client relationship management and contribution to proposals as needed.
- Pursue and maintain industry-relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, AEC PMA), as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within an A/E or design-focused firm.
- Demonstrated experience managing design teams and design deliverables (not construction field execution).

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence without authority, and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience serving as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or discipline lead on design projects.
- Solid working knowledge of architectural and engineering design processes, interdisciplinary coordination, and document delivery.
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships.
