Project Manager, Data Strategy

Job Overview

THE·TEAM Corporate is seeking a Project Manager to join the Global Insights and Innovation team with a focus on Data Strategy. The role involves leading data-focused projects, shaping data initiatives, and ensuring compliance and governance.

What You'll Do

• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead data-related projects from planning to delivery, manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources, and hold workstreams accountable to delivery timelines.

• Data Strategy & Prioritization: Shape the organization's data roadmap, prioritize initiatives based on business value, and ensure projects align with strategic goals.

• Stakeholder Management & Organizational Influence: Serve as the primary point of contact, build relationships with cross-functional partners, and manage alignment across competing organizational needs.

• Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure projects comply with data governance policies and align with organizational standards, and partner with legal and security teams as needed.

• Risk Management & Reporting: Identify and mitigate risks, track project and data governance metrics, and report regularly on project progress and outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

• 5-7 years of experience managing projects, ideally technical or data-focused

• Solid working knowledge of data governance principles

• Experience contributing to or shaping data strategy roadmapping

• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget

• Experience working within or alongside compliance/regulatory frameworks

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Familiarity with data platforms/tooling landscapes

• Nice to have: Experience with BI/reporting tools, AI tools, background in sports/entertainment data, and curiosity about THE·TEAM business.
