Project Manager / Data Center Site Lead

URGENT HIRING: PROJECT MANAGER / DATA CENTER SITE LEAD Client: WWT Job Title: Project Manager / Data Center Site Lead Location: Reno, NV Employment Type: W2 Only Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Data Center Site Lead to manage daily onsite data center operations and provide technical direction to Data Center Technicians. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-density compute, GPU infrastructure, networking, rack-and-stack, structured cabling, power distribution, and liquid-cooled data center environments. Key Responsibilities Lead daily onsite data center operations and provide technical direction to technicians.Oversee rack-and-stack, cabling, deployments, troubleshooting, break/fix, and decommissioning activities.Support high-density compute and networking infrastructure.Work with Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling (DLC) environments.Support Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), cooling loops, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, and monitoring systems.Troubleshoot liquid-cooling alarms, leaks, flow and pressure issues, temperature abnormalities, and CDU-related incidents.Monitor power, cooling, temperature, humidity, and hardware health.Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and escalation.Coordinate onsite activities with engineering, networking, facilities, vendors, logistics, and remote operations teams.Manage technician assignments, ticket queues, maintenance activities, and shift handoffs.Maintain accurate asset records, change-control documentation, SOPs, MOPs, and operational reports.Enforce safety procedures when working around electrical, mechanical, and liquid-cooled infrastructure. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.Experience leading technicians or onsite data center operations.Strong hands-on knowledge of servers, GPU and compute systems, networking equipment, structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and power distribution.Strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, networking, power, cooling, and environmental systems.Experience with ticketing systems, DCIM, asset management, change management, and operational documentation.Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Ability to serve as the primary onsite escalation point.Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 data center environment.
