About the Role

As a CBRE Project Management Manager, you’ll manage a team responsible for providing basic management services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This role is part of the Project Management function and involves managing projects from initiation through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines, and mentor team members as needed.
  • Oversee all phases of project management, including procurement, contracting, planning, and tracking.
  • Ensure contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
  • Work cross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
  • Identify small to medium project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements.
  • Apply knowledge of your discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in existing systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance is preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
