ServicePoint is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Dallas, TX area. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the IT industry, strong project management expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion. This position requires a professional with a solid understanding of low-voltage systems, ensuring effective collaboration with technical teams and managers. Success in this role demands exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Must be open to travel 50% of the time within the 200-mile radius for project assignments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring productivity and financial performance.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Prepare small proposals for local sales, leveraging material and labor cost knowledge.
- Communicate progress daily with management and subcontractors.
- Maintain project information in an online collaborative system.
- Track and manage project expenses, revenue, and overall financial performance.
- Coordinate field activities and anticipate future workload needs.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure tasks and schedules are met.
- Act as the primary contact for communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to ServicePoint’s quality and profitability standards.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and technological advancements.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing high-profile projects in fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of low-voltage systems and their applications.
- Proven expertise in project management principles, including financial oversight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Very strong capabilities to create reports and manipulate data using Excel.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
