Responsibilities
- Oversight of day-to-day operations, including project execution, field activities, resource coordination, and resolution of customer and operational issues.
- Participation in hiring efforts and mentorship, coaching, and development of team members through performance reviews and ongoing feedback.
- Scheduling and coordinating field personnel and resources for local and large-scale projects.
- Providing technical guidance, reviewing quotes, performing site walks as needed, and ensuring quality of field work and reports.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams while delivering excellent customer service.
- Monitoring project performance to meet profitability and operational goals.
- Partnering with leadership to improve processes and support business initiatives.
- Preparing reports and communicating project status as needed.
- Maintaining flexibility to support customer and business needs, including occasional after-hours or weekend work.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or a related industry.
- Hands-on experience testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-voltage substation equipment (69kV-345kV), including protective relays, breakers, transformers, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of utility, industrial, commercial, or renewable energy environments.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license.
Qualifications
