Project Manager (Contract to Hire)

About the Role

This is a full-time US-based remote role for a Professional Services Project Manager (Contract to Hire). This client-facing position delivers technology consulting services, focusing on planning, coordinating, and driving project execution to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

Daily tasks include managing project timelines, aligning resources, engaging stakeholders, monitoring budgets, and mitigating risks. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide consistent updates on project progress to internal and external clients.

This is a contract (Corp-to-Corp or 1099) to hire position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and drive project execution to ensure successful outcomes
• Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor budgets and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology consulting services
• Provide consistent updates on project progress to internal and external clients
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects (10-20) simultaneously

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Minimum 3 years of client-facing project management experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing professional services technical projects
• Experience delivering professional services IT projects and initiatives
• Experience managing network and modern data center infrastructure modernization engagements
• Proven expertise in project planning, project execution, and risk mitigation
• Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills
• Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and resource management
• Strong skills in budget management and timeline coordination
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects
• Experience working with remote teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
