Project Manager - Construction (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, technology, business administration or related field AND 2 years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management
  • Associate’s degree in project management, technology, business administration or related field AND 4 years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management
  • Six (6) years of experience managing projects and project teams in building construction, renovations, and construction management
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of various project management methodologies
  • Experience with project management software tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office solutions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.)
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills including presenting reports, charts, and graphs in public presentations
  • Skilled in facilitating and leading meetings
  • Knowledge of OSHA, State and City building and fire codes and regulations
  • Proficient using word processing, database, spreadsheet programs and project software programs
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • FBI fingerprint background check
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
  • A current Arizona Driver’s license

Benefits

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Comments

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
