About the role

You will be responsible for managing all phases of designing and constructing commercial projects from design development phase until turnover to tenants.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of tender packages and the selection of contractors
  • Contract administration from award through to project total completion
  • Providing oversight of the contractor's execution of work during the construction phase
  • Managing the preparation of and submitting and obtaining building permits
  • Executing value engineering and constructability expertise
  • Facilitating and directing material issues to resolution in a timely manner with input from the development and construction teams
  • Ensuring and enforcing quality control of the finished product
  • Delivering projects on schedule, on budget, on vision
  • Updating monthly cash flow projections
  • Assisting in updating Anthem’s site safety practices and enforcing it on site
  • Providing estimates/budgets during the various stages of the development process as required

Requirements

A minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing all phases of designing and construction of commercial projects.

A thorough understanding of the specific needs, codes and regulations.

Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Competent computer skills to review and produce project documents and communicate effectively in an online real time environment.
