Project Manager, Construction (Calgary)

About the role

You will have overall responsibility for projects from design development phase until turnover to Tenants. You will prepare tender packages and select contractors, administer contracts from award through to project completion, oversee contractor's work during construction, manage building permits, provide value engineering and constructability expertise, facilitate and direct material issues, ensure quality control of the finished product, deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and on vision, and update monthly cash flow projections.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience managing all phases of designing and construction of commercial projects
• Thorough understanding of the specific needs, codes and regulations
• Certified Occupational Health and Safety (COHS) certification preferred
• Competent computer skills to review and produce project documents and communicate effectively in an online real time environment
