Project Manager, Construction

About the role

We are ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our teams in White Plains, NY and Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Develop preliminary concept drawings and participate in proposal meetings with the owner
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site
• Prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines to 100% completion
• Communicate openly with leadership, team members, and train co-ops/interns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or related engineering program)
• 1-5+ years of hands-on construction experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Field Engineer, or related internships
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines and continually re-evaluate project priorities
• Commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
