Project Manager – Commercial / Public Construction

Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high-quality experience
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and risk management
- Collaborate with internal teams, design partners, and field staff to ensure seamless execution
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Provide proactive problem-solving to keep projects on track
Qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial and/or public construction
- Proven experience managing projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, municipal, or corporate environments
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and project controls
- Experience with delivery methods such as Design-Build, CMAR, or General Contracting
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
Skills
- Experience with public-sector projects and stakeholder coordination
- Knowledge of local building codes, permitting, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to foster long-term client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
Pay
$105,000 - $130,000 per year
