Responsibilities
- Manage the full post-sale lifecycle of commercial lighting projects from purchase order receipt through final billing and closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and manufacturer representative agencies on all post-sale activities
- Coordinate with manufacturer reps on acknowledgments, lead times, production status, and shipment scheduling
- Maintain organized, accurate project documentation across all systems
- Manage project billing to ensure invoicing aligns with shipments and customer PO terms
- Provide regular project status updates and manage customer expectations throughout the lifecycle
- Collaborate with quotation specialists to ensure smooth handoffs from bid award to execution
- Work closely with administrative staff, sales teams, and manufacturer reps to ensure on-time project delivery
- Identify, escalate, and resolve warranty claims, damaged shipments, and discrepancies
- Order Processing and Documentation
- Process and enter orders accurately in ERP and Job Management systems
- Verify pricing, products, quantities, and terms against awarded quotations
- Manage project billing to ensure invoicing aligns with shipments and customer PO terms
Requirements
- 3–5 years of project management experience in electrical distribution, commercial lighting, or commercial construction
- Strong understanding of the post-sale project lifecycle, including order entry, procurement, material release, delivery scheduling, and billing
- Working knowledge of commercial lighting products and manufacturers; familiarity with DFW-area rep agencies is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems and Job Management platforms
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume, multi-stage projects
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in order processing, documentation, and billing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or construction-related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Benefits
Pay range: $75,000 – $85,000/yr (+ quarterly bonus opportunity)
