Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to field foremen and employees, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
- Review and approve purchase orders for each project, ensuring materials and resources are properly managed.
- Cookordination work crews to ensure adequate coverage of field employees on each project.
- Work through conflicts with clients and employees, resolving issues quickly and maintaining project timelines.
- Review, prepare, and correct monthly billing reports to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
- Complete take-offs from drawings, preparing accurate estimates for projects.
- Hire and staff field employees, ensuring the right talent is placed on each project.
- Maintain project contract documents, including submittals and change orders, to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Process, approve, and code invoices related to project expenses.
- Process field employee time cards on a weekly basis, ensuring accurate payroll submissions.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial drywall, framing, and construction field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with construction software such as ProCore, PlanGrid, Foundation, OST, and Quick Bid.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not required.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
