Project Manager / Civil Engineer, Mining

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager/Senior Civil Engineer to join our mining team. You will prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, deliver geotechnical services such as modeling, analysis, and investigations, and conduct conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies for tailings and mine waste facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines
• Deliver geotechnical services such as modeling, analysis, and investigations
• Conduct conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies for tailings and mine waste facilities
• Manage projects by coordinating with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Oversee field activities, site inspections, and monitoring data analysis
• Review technical reports and work independently on complex tasks
• Liaise with stakeholders and contribute to business development efforts
• Maintain project budgets and manage multiple projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering (post-graduate preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, especially in tailings, dam, and mine waste projects
• Valid driver’s license
