About the role
This position can be based out of our Fenton, MO office or on a national project site.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities from start to finish, including proposals, bids, project design, quality control, job scheduling, problem resolution, job completion, coordination, communication, client satisfaction activities and other related duties, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.
- Assist or manage job estimating, project budgets, projections and contracts, job solicitation and project negotiations, and may also be responsible for training, mentoring, and providing work direction to other project team members.
- May assist civil construction projects including trenching, excavating, directional drilling, underground fiber, specialized bus duct excavation, signs, and communications systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in civil engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
- Solid project management training and skills.
- Thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
- Experience and proficiency using construction software tools (e.g., Procore, Accubid, Revit).
- Trained and proficient in estimating techniques, negotiating, budgeting, costing, contracting, scheduling, pricing, and common code requirements.
- Skills to read, interpret, and understand electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent financial, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Collaboration, coaching, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse work teams.
- Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid Software, Bluebeam Revu or other Civil Estimating Software a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience.
