Project Manager - Bridge
Primary responsibilities
- Lead efforts to expand our client base and grow our bridge group, leveraging your market expertise.
- Develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets and tracks progress to manage the financial success of projects and ensure timely completion.
- Manages complex contract negotiations.
- Led the execution of project plans by assembling and managing project teams, coordinating availability of internal resources, and assigning individual responsibilities ensuring technical skills, capabilities, and expertise align with project objectives.
- Serves as primary liaison between all parties involved in a project.
- Maintains an ongoing positive relationship with clients and focuses on exceptional client service to secure future work.
- Documents all project deliverables and maintains comprehensive records including correspondence, design plans, and other project related files.
- Supervises and mentors staff within the team on project management best practices utilizing Olsson Project Management programs and other project support services resources.
- Adheres to regulations and enforces safety standards.

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Master’s degree, or in pursuit, a plus.
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design and bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Expertise, Lpile, SPColumn, or MDX) preferred.
- Expertise with MoDOT bridge projects preferred.
- Familiarity with MicroStation software preferred.
