Job Summary

The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement based initiatives in support of enterprise manufacturing processes. This role focuses on optimizing processes, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance using various improvement methodologies. The Manufacturing Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the successful execution of scoped projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives in support of enterprise manufacturing processes.
• Optimize manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance using various improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure the successful execution of scoped projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and influence change across multiple departments.
• Experience with process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent experience.

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Process improvement tools and techniques.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Collaborative problem-solving abilities.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
