PROJECT MANAGER

Summary

This position will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Coincides activities of project personnel to ensure milestones are met on schedule and within the designated budget.
• Maintain clear, timely, and concise communication with both internal teams and external clients, while keeping accurate digital and physical project records.
• Reviews project proposals and plans to define project phases, timelines, budget limits, and material procurement.
• Collaborates with project personnel to offer technical advice and resolve constraints.
• Prepares project reports for management, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Reviews ongoing status reports adjusting schedules and plans as necessary to keep the project on track.
• Maintains strict adherence to the project scope through order management tracking, verifying alignment with project shop drawings and contract documents.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Skills

• Associate’s degree in project management or related field, plus 1 - 3 years of experience in construction project management.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications is required.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• Possess strong technical proficiency in to effectively oversee job operations.
• Be vigilant about safety.
• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence.

Travel Requirements

The travel required for this position is less than 10%.
