The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of assigned projects, including managing, coordinating, and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and personnel to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures while monitoring project costs and profitability.
- Cookordination with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum.
- Process and manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing regular status updates.
- Supervise and mentor project team members, including superintendents and subcontractors.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage project documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities efficiently.
Qualifications
- A BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
- 3 - 5 years project manager experience preferred.
- Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
- Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
