Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary project manager and client representative throughout project delivery.
- Manage Projects Through All Phases Including Programming
- Master Planning
- Schematic Design
- Design Development
- Construction Documents
- Permitting
- Bidding/Negotiation
- Construction Administration
- Cook up architectural staff and multidisciplinary consultants including structural, civil, MEP, landscape, technology, and specialty consultants.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and project budgets.
- Monitor project financial performance and assist with resource planning.
- Lead owner meetings, user group workshops, consultant coordination meetings, and progress presentations.
- Ensure projects comply with Florida Building Code, accessibility requirements, applicable agency regulations, and owner standards.
- Conduct quality control reviews and coordinate technical document reviews throughout project development.
- Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and life-cycle cost evaluations.
- Cook up permitting and regulatory agency approvals.
- Mentor junior architectural staff and assist with professional development.
- Participate in business development activities including proposal preparation, interviews, and client relationship management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated architectural project management experience.
- Experience managing institutional, educational, religious, or healthcare projects.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordination.
- Working knowledge of Florida Building Code and permitting processes.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based project delivery.
- Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Architect in the State of Florida (or actively pursuing licensure).
- LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials are a plus.
- Experience in one or more of the following markets: Educational, Religious, Commercial, and Healthcare Facilities.
