Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans and manage project scope, schedules, costs, staffing, resource requirements, and overall status reporting
- Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams
- Lead large, global implementations and ensure all workstreams remain aligned with project timelines and deliverables
- Maintain accurate project data in project and performance management tools, ensuring required documentation is collected and archived for future use
- Provide stakeholders with timely updates and detailed information regarding project progress, risks, issues, and decisions
- Identify and resolve obstacles that may affect the project’s ability to remain on schedule and within budget
- Manage vendor communications and partnerships to ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines, schedules, and deliverables
- Identify, manage, and mitigate implementation risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversight of large, global IT implementations involving multiple regions and vendors
- Cordination of approximately 15 simultaneous workstreams, including dependencies, milestones, and deliverables
Qualifications
- Direct experience with IT managed services implementation or provider transition
- Strong vendor management, including maintaining schedules, driving accountability, and escalating issues
- Detailed project planning and consistent reporting on cost, timing, staffing, risks, and overall status
- Ideally, experience supporting IT managed services within a plant-support environment
- Minimum of four years of relevant project management experience; typically five or more years of relevant experience
- Preferred qualifications: Previous company experience, Based in Wayzata, Minnesota, preferred but not required, Previous experience implementing or transitioning IT managed services within a plant support environment
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 or the hourly equivalent.
