Project Manager
About the role
The Project Manager is an integral member of the project team, responsible for project management of a variety of engineering projects, leading and directing Project Coordinators and Technicians, and collaborating with Project Engineers to produce successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day project management of complex projects on a wide variety of precast and pre-stressed concrete structures and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums, arenas, dormitories, parking garages, and office buildings.
- Provide management, guidance, training, and mentorship to a team of Project Coordinators and Technicians.
- Construction administration of projects including processing submittals and site inspections.
- Ensure clients are satisfied and all assigned deadlines are met.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience managing the design of precast/pre-stressed concrete structures and products.
- Successful mentorship and development of others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with design utilizing various engineering software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Willing and able to adapt as necessary to support changing business needs.
