Project Manager

Overview The Project Manager leads residential design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout, with accountability for financial performance, client communication, team coordination, change management, and overall project execution. Key Responsibilities Project Financial LeadershipOwn project budgets, forecasting, and cost control.Maintain accurate financial oversight from launch through closeout.Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and job cost reporting.Monitor committed costs, labor, subcontractor spending, and contingency usage.Identify risks early and take corrective action to protect margin. Design-to-Field CoordinationAlign design intent with field execution.Keep design, estimating, procurement, and production teams coordinated and moving decisively.Coordinate design, estimating, procurement, and field teams.Drive clarification of plans, details, submittals, and RFIs.Support field leadership with timely decisions and accurate information. Required Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of residential building codes and ability to interpret architectural and engineering plansExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration skills with clients, team members, and trade partnersProficiency in Microsoft Office; Buildertrend, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam experience preferred Education & Experience Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred5+ years of project management or direct supervision experience; high-end residential experience in the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred Physical Requirements Ability to work safely on active construction sites in varied conditionsAbility to climb ladders and navigate stairs throughout all stages of construction
