Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate Phase 1 inspection/testing activities and Phase 2 annual preventive maintenance (PM) and water treatment tasks.
- Serve as the primary interface with the Government/Facility point of contact for scheduling, access, and coordination (including shutdown/outage planning when required).
- Career: Coordinate emergency call-back workflow with Tigua’s 24/7 call center/dispatch and on-call technicians; ensure initial response within 1 hour of notification and, when on-site dispatch is required, arrival within 4 hours during standard work hours or within 6 hours after-hours/weekends/holidays.
- Verify and submit complete service deliverables, organized by building, equipment/system, and service date; ensure required logs and supporting documentation are included.
- Ensure Emergency Service Reports are complete and submitted within required timeframes following incident resolution.
- Maintain a safety-first culture: ensure personnel complete site safety orientation, follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements, and use safety checklists before live testing/combustion tasks.
- Support final walkthrough/acceptance activities by ensuring systems are operational and documentation packages are complete.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience managing PM/HVAC and water treatment operations (or comparable institutional/commercial mechanical services).
- Demonstrated ability to plan schedules, coordinate access, and manage technical service deliverables and closeout documentation.
- Strong written communication skills: ability to produce clear service documentation and transmit complete report packages.
- Working knowledge of boiler plant and HVAC systems and basic water treatment program concepts (sampling/testing, chemical handling documentation, and monitoring logs).
- Ability to pass a Federal/DOI background investigation as required for site access and comply with all site security procedures (including daily check-in and credential display).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing OEM-aligned PM programs for boiler plants, chillers, cooling towers, chemical feed systems, softeners, and reverse osmosis systems.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and work order controls.
- Experience supporting emergency response/on-call programs and documenting after-hours service events.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in mechanical rooms, boiler plant spaces, and campus utility areas.
- May require climbing ladders/stairs, working around rotating equipment and hot surfaces, and wearing PPE as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry typical field documentation/equipment and work safely around chemical handling areas (with appropriate PPE and training).
