Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Advises and consults to Owners on their overall buildings project from conception through closeout with a focus on budget, schedule, scope and quality.
- Led multiple project meetings, document minutes and follow up on open items.
- Manages a project team comprised of project controls, schedulers, estimators, clerk of the works as well as subject matter experts.
- Leads teams in the review of design documents, constructability reviews, and value engineering studies.
- Coordinates and leads designer, contractor and 3rd party procurement efforts.
- Maintains master project budgets, develops cash flows and advises Owner on Estimate at Completion (EAC).
- Reviews and advises on project change orders and assesses impact of change requests or delays on the project schedule and budget.
- Communicates project progress with clients; advises of needed project decisions and assists in overall project strategy.
Qualifications
- Resides in or around Central Ct (Hartford Area)
- Minimum of 10 yrs experience in Building Construction
- Certified Construction manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of CT preferred OR must have the ability to obtain when on board
- CT DOT Project experience is desired but not necessary
- Has a valid license and would be willing to commute to projects across Eastern and Central Cty
- Knowledge of Compass and/or Astro Project Management software would be considered a plus
- Able to pass a background check with the Dept. of Corrections (DOC)
